This is a transcription and translation from the German records (Book I, III, and IV) preserved in the Ebenezer Evangelical Lutheran Church of Berlin, Texas. Book II is missing.  It burned in a house fire of a former secretary.   The major influx of German-speaking immigrants appears to have begun in the 1850s.  Most enties are mid 1850s with some earlier and some later. This book contains baptisms, marriages, deaths, holy communion, family records, and much, much more.  Hard cover, 292 pages including map and index.
This copy is an ex-library copy with library markings.  The cover shows wear, soiling, and fading from age and use.   The binding is tight and intact.  The interior is in very good condition with no apparent markings.  This is a USED book and sold AS IS.
