VINTAGE CBS TELEVISION SPORTS PATCH
, CIRCA 1950'S,
~2 1/4" SQUARE, EMBROIDERED FELT, CUT EDGE, GAUZE/CHEESECLOTH BACK.
This CBS Television Sports uniform patch is in very good vintage condition with possible light wear from long term storage, including possible light discoloration, possible light edge wear, etc. Green thread embroidered on yellow felt with cut edge and cheesecloth/gauze back, circa 1950's. I bought this in 1989 along with a JVC S-VHS deck, but never used it. I'm not sure if it still works, but there's not a lot to go wrong in it - I pressed the five buttons on the front and they still engage. It's not powered, so there's no power supply to go bad. I still have the "Instruction Book" and warranty cards that came with it, along with the original packaging. It measures 17" W, 6.75" D (from front of buttons to front of jacks - case itself is 6.25"), and a bit over 1.75" H. I'm pricing it cheaply in hopes of finding a good home for it, instead of recycling or donating to Goodwill.
