This is a beautiful Emile Henry loaf dish in a solid white-colored inside and a solid brick/terracotta/rust/burnt orange-colored outside
.
It measures 3" tall x 11" in diameter.
Its markings are remarkable in that "modele depose" means that this was a registered design, a registered pattern, and that a patent was pending.
It's marked "Emile Henry, France, 63.04, 10 04, FM, Modele Depose."
No chips, cracks, fading, crazing or breaks...an absolutely remarkable vintage piece that sat on a shelf for almost 30 years.
