Vintage Manor Ware Designs Souvenir Egg Timer, Figural Fireplace, Made in England, Vintage Chalkware, British Egg Timer. Lady in Puritan hat sitting next to a fireplace and a cauldron. Pink sand egg timer. This is vintage chalkware. It has wear, chips, areas of missing paint. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS First Class.
Up for sale is this harder to find "Lux Minute Minder" kitchen timer.  It is model 1928 with the red inlay for the lettering and numbers.  I have tested it at the 5 and 30 minute marks and it came very close to my iPhone timer.  The ring is an elongated one.  It still has 4 rubber feet on the bottom.  The white case is pretty clean, but there is a hairline crack down the back that is difficult to see, but can be felt with a finger nail.  No box or instructions.  This dates to pre-1961, before Robert Shaw bought out Lux.
It measures about 2-1/2" tall, 4-1/2" from front to back and 3-1/2" wide.  A nice vintage working retro piece.
