Vintage 50’s 60’s Sylvania shop clock tube advertising sign.
SIZE: 38 x 15 x 5
This sign would have hung in a Sylvania dealers store or shop.
White strip at bottom was for dealer name. It looks this was never used.
Can be hung or attached to a wall.
In excellent condition. Lights up nicely and clock keeps good time.
Metal body is in great shape with no dents, dings, scratches or other problems.
Face is in excellent condition with no problems.
Plastic side panels in very good condition with a couple of small nicks.
Power cord is in excellent condition.
From a non smoking home.

FOR SALE IS A RARE EARLY WW11 RADIO SET BC-222 (SCR-194) KNOWN AS THE U.S. MILITARY'S FIRST MODEL WALKIE TALKIE RADIO.  IT'S COUNTER PART WAS THE BC-322 (SCR-195) MODEL WHICH HAD A DIFFERENT FREQUENCY RANGE.  THE IS A VERY EARLY SET WITH SERIAL NUMBER 909, DATED 1941 PRODUCED BY THE RAULAND CORP. FORT MONMOUTH, N. J..  THESE SETS WERE TRANSCEIVERS AND DESIGNED FOR DISTANCES UP TO 5 MILES.  THIS SET INCLUDES THE TRANSCEIVER WITH METAL FACE COVER (BC-222), HANDSET TS-11-F,  ANTENNA (AN-29-C), SIMILULATED BATTERY (BA-32). THE ORIGNAL RADIO BAG (BG-71) AND A COPY OF TECH MANUAL TM 11-238 RADIO SETS DATED APRIL 17, 1942.   CONDITION:  THE GENERAL APPEARANCE OF THIS RIG IS VERY GOOD TO EXCELLENT.   (A) THE VERY RARE RADIO BAG BG-71 IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION (ONE OF THE BEST I HAVE SEEN).  FREE OF RIPS/TEARS/LOOSE THREADS, AND NO HAND PRINTING ON CANVAS.  THE LEATHER BOTTON IS ALSO PLYABLE AND NOT COMING APART.  THE CANVAS BAG HAS ALL STRAPS IN GOOD SHAPE.  THE CANVAS BAG ITSELF IS MARKED BG-71 AND DOES HAVE
A SMALL FRAY HOLE TOWARD THE BOTTOM. (B)  GENERAL APPEARNCE OF RADIO ITSELF IS VERY GOOD TO EXCELLENT.  OUTSIDE CASE HAS NO RUST AND BLACK CRINKLE FINISH IS NICE.  ORIGINAL CANVAS STRAPS ARE INTACT.  ID TAG IS CLEAR, AND INSULATOR (IN-96-A) IS FREE OF CRACKS. THE CONTROL PANEL APPEARS OPERATIONAL HOWEVER THE DIAL FACE DOES SHOW AGE WARE HOWEVER CAN STILL READ.  ALSO INCLUDED IS THE SMALL METAL FACE COVER WHICH MANY TIMES IS MISSING. INSIDE THE RADIO IS VERY CLEAN, NO RUST AND HAS ITS CHRYSTAL.   (C) THE SIMILATED BATTERY LOOKS GOOD, MARKED BA-32. (D) HANDSET PHONE ITSELF IS FREE OF CRACKS SHOWING SOME AGE.  HANDSET CORD IS INTACT HOWEVER HAS MINOR CRACKING AND DISPLAY ONLY.  (D)  ANTENNA IS COMPLETE WITH CAP AND EXTENDS/RETRACTS AS IT SHOULD.  (E)  THE HANDSET DISPLAYS WELL HOWEVER APPEARS TO HAVE
