Offered is an Antique Cabinet Card Photo Album with 36 Cabinet card photos from the Taylor-Clark(e)-Bills-Pingree families from Becket, Middlefield, and Springfield Massachusetts. Most of the photos are ID’d- see below for details. There are also several rare Worcester,Pittsfield, Northampton, and Salem photographer’s examples, see details below. The information in parentheses is based on my personal research of the family. The album itself is in very good condition for its age. The pages, binding and metal clasp are intact however some of the photo slots are torn- please see photos as part of the description. This a rare family treasure for any descendant of the family or anyone who is interested in genealogy related to these areas. This album was found as-is and no photos have been removed or added. Henry county is in western Illinois and is surrounded by Rock Island, Mercer, Knox, Stark, Bureau and Whiteside counties. The county seat is Cambridge. Other towns are Atkinson, Kewanee, Galva, Geneso, Woodhull, Orion, Annawan, Hopepool, Ophiem, Andover and Lynn Center
About the CD:
This CD provides the genealogist the opportunity to have access to information from a book that is difficult to locate in the used book market. The CD was made by scanning an original copy of the book. Any defect such as notes in the margin or light text will also appear in the CD version. The CD requires Adobe Acrobat Reader to view the file. When viewing on your screen the page size can be increased to make reading easier. This CD is searchable and has a series of bookmarks making navigation through the file easier. The CD is packaged in a protective sleeve.
