Vintage 1979 Bone Fone AM/FM stereo portable neck radio.
The Bone Fone is a
battery operated
AM/FM
neck radio
designed to be worn around the neck like a scarf, with the speakers resting on a wearers collarbone so that that sound is transferred directly from the little speakers into the body through the bones.
It
that has a blue nylon cover that is in the shape of a tube. It can be slipped off the Bone Fone and washed.
Photos 1 - 2 show the Bone Fone with the blue cover on, and photos 3 - 12 show the Bone Fone with the blue cover off.
The Bone Fone is in
generally
good condition for its age.
I tested it by putting in batteries and it works fine - see photo 4 which show the Bone Fone with its red diode lite that indicates that it is turned on and working.
