    Coles county is in east central Illinois and is surrounded by Douglas, Edgar, Clarke, Cumberland, Shelby and Moultrie counties. The county seat is Charleston. Other towns include Ashmore, Bushton, Cook Mills, Doran, Fairgrange, Humboldt, Lerna, Loxa, Mattoon, Oakland, Rardin and Trilla.
    Douglas county is in east central Illinois and is surrounded by Coles Edgar, Champaign, Piatt and Moultrie counties. The county seat is Tuscola. Other towns include Arcola, Arthur, Chesterville, Fairland, Garrett, Hayes, Hindsboro, Kemp, Murdock, Newman and Villa Grove.
