PARTIAL GENEALOGY:
Charles E. Carpenter
was born in Sep 1856. He was the son of
Charles Hellems Carpenter
and
Harriet E.  Drake
. He married
Alice A. Crane
(1871-1928).
Charles' immigrant ancestor was William Carpenter, b.1605  England, and d.1658/9 in Rehoboth, Massachusetts. Charles and Alice had one child:
Winifred Hellems Carpenter
(1907-aft.1944). Winifred's mother died while Winnie was atending Syracuse  University. After she graduated from Syracuse she became a teacher. Her father committed suicide in April 1933 by  shooting himself in the chest with a shotgun. As of 1944, Winifred was teaching Latin at New Rochelle High  School.

CONDITION: Light soiling all around, top right corner missing from mount. Otherwise very good.

It is comprised of single-sided 8-1/2 X 11" photocopied pages bound together with a metal binder clamp and weighs about 1 lb.  1.1 oz. prior to packing for shipment. There is no page count, but it looks to be about 100 single sided pages. It is in good previously owned condition (see our attached images of the actual item offered here).  A nice addition to your genealogical studies collection.
